The Spa in Bridlington played host to a fantastic weekend of darts as the British Open and British Classic took centre stage. Organised and promoted by Tri Nations Darts and sponsored by Bulls Darts, the events attracted some of the top names from across the women’s and girls’ game. Among them, Olivia produced a series of impressive performances across all three competitions — the British Classic Women’s Singles, the British Open Women’s Singles, and the British Open Girls Singles.
British Classic Women’s Singles – Quarter-Final Achievement
Olivia enjoyed an excellent run in the British Classic Women’s Singles, showing real confidence and composure.
She began her campaign strongly with a 4–0 win over Mandy Smith (53.71 average) in the Last 16, following up on an earlier 4–3 victory against Laura Patton in the Top 32.
Her consistent scoring and tidy finishing earned her a place in the Quarter-Finals, where she faced top seed Aletta Wajer. Despite averaging a solid 56.79, Olivia Heaton was defeated 4–1, with Wajer going on to claim the title later that day.
It was another strong showing from Olivia, who proved she can compete comfortably against some of the most experienced players in the women’s game.
British Open Women’s Singles – Another Steady Display
Later in the weekend, Olivia returned to the oche for the British Open Women’s Singles.
After some competitive performances in the early rounds, she met Bex Waterfall in the Last 32. Despite averaging 59.24, Olivia Heaton lost out 4–2 in a close encounter.
The event featured a world-class field, with Paige Pauling ultimately winning the title with a 5–2 victory over Macy Gibbons in the final.
For Olivia, it was another valuable experience at senior level, continuing to build on the consistency that took her deep into the British Classic earlier in the weekend.
British Open Girls Singles – Learning Experience After a Long Day
Following her strong run in the Classic, Olivia also competed in the British Open Girls Singles.
Understandably, fatigue played a part after a busy day of competition, and her performance dipped slightly from the high standards set earlier.
In her group, Olivia Heaton recorded a 3–0 win over Emily Wilkinson (40.99 average) but suffered defeats to Kacie O’Connor (3–1) and Lily Blanthorn (3–2).
While described as an “under-par performance” compared to her earlier form, it was another important experience that adds to her growing confidence in pressure situations.
Overall Weekend Summary

Despite a demanding schedule, Olivia delivered another excellent weekend of darts, highlighted by her quarter-final finish in the British Classic Women’s Singles. Competing across both women’s and girls’ events, she demonstrated strong focus, consistency, and determination throughout.
Olivia continues to establish herself as one of the most promising young players on the women’s circuit. Her results in Bridlington underline not only her talent but also her dedication to improving with every event. With performances like these, the future looks bright for Olivia as she continues her journey through the sport.
